Heya! I'm Gayle, and if you've ever felt you don't fit into society's idea of the "norm", then I am here to tell society to do one! Because you are my kind of norm and stuff what anyone else thinks!

I grew up a small town, not truly connecting with people around me, and definitely not being my true self. Does this sound familiar? Schoolmates wore cool shell suits and I had a Guns n Roses waistcoat (ok, maybe not that part lol). After the DIY / bowl cut years, my dad advanced me to the barbers for a haircut lol. Yep, I was a tomboy in the 80s! And I was brought up with 2 big brothers and their hand-me-downs. After what I've just written, it might be a good thing there is only one of me! lol.

I've always walked to my own beat though, and in my adulthood that meant being brave and going off to do what I enjoy on my own. I started going out in Dundee and later Glasgow. Once I found my tribe it felt like coming home and there was no looking back!

I'm drawn to people who have a passion for a hobby or interest.

People doing what they love and being their true self.

How do people just stand there?! Also, nothing gets me sprinting to the dance floor faster than the dance remix of Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5. (Yes, really.)

I once asked someone what the first thing they noticed about me was. They said I have a laugh that "kinda bops you in the face when you first hear it." ...

I have no idea what they’re talking about. 😇

If local photographers haven't quite felt like your vibe, I totally get it.

And that’s exactly why I’m here.
